Hello and welcome to my new site, The Austin Pundit. Some of you may know me as The Austin Critic, a writer who would write about mostly anime. Due to a growing interest in politics, I have decided to start a site based on politics. I will not be writing news articles, but only opinion pieces, as I can't stand reiterating factual information. I'll leave that to mainstream media outlets that people actually visit.
So since I've just started this blog, people are going to want to know who the hell I am. For starters, I'm a student at Westlake High School, currently in the 10th grade. My hobbies include reading, writing, cross-country, blogging, obsessively using twitter (I must stop...), reviewing, audio editing, arguing with people in a civilized manner, watching movies, television, and anime, creating podcasts and editing them weeks after creation (I procrastinate...), and reading manga if I don't have anything else to do. I'm currently an independent, as I judge myself to be too intellectually immature to judge every single political event, but I do have enough knowledge to allows me the privilege on judging most political events. Besides, if I do actually write on this blog in the long term, then I do think that I my writing and party affiliation will develop enormously.
Since this is a political blog, I do encourage people to comment, whether it be in agreement (Hopefully...) or in disagreement (Which would suck, but would still be more interesting...).
If you want to contact me, then I recommend you use twitter. My twitter name is theaustincritic.
I also have plans for a political podcast. So I would keep an eye out for it...
Hoping that this blog survives in the longterm,
Eric Robinson
